Rugby video game will be released in new formats

Video game enthusiasts may be pleased to know Rugby League 3 for the Nintendo Wii will soon be available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game, which will be called Rugby League Live for the new formats, will be in stores this November.
The many features of Rugby League Live include 40 licensed teams from competitions such as the Super League, NRL, State of Origin, City vs. Country and the World Cup. It also includes 30 realistic stadiums from around the world and four-player functions.
"Rugby League Live truly brings the hard hitting action and excitement of the greatest game of all, to your home," said Roger Hulley, managing director of Alternative Software. "It is a top class sports simulation, with the true passion and excitement of Rugby League, coming to life on your Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, in what is a superb realization of the world's toughest contact sport."
