After seeing years of success, the Build Boston convention has become a regional event that offers workshops and symposiums for architects, engineers, designers and other contractors.
This year, the 26th annual Build Boston convention is set to take place between November 17 and 19, held by the Boston Society of Architects (BSA). A number of notable designers in the industry will be in attendance to discuss their experiences in creating sustainable structures, firm management and profitability.
"Architects don't work in isolation, we rely on the expertise of consulting engineers, other design professionals, contractors, manufacturers and the vision of our clients," said BSA president Lawrence Chan. "By inviting other building industry associations and client groups to partner with the BSA, we gain both their expertise and their members' participation."
Attendees will be able to choose from 200 different workshops and visit more than 250 trade show exhibits. Participants may also be eligible to earn continuing-education credits at the convention.
Architecture jobs are predicted to increase by 16 percent over the next eight years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
