When a graphic design company exceeds market expectations, it may be eligible to win an award or be honored for its hard work. This week, Top Floor won two W3 Silver Awards for its success in web design.
The Silver Awards were given to Top Floor for visual appeal and corporate communications, stemming from its work on the Wausaukee Composites website. The site incorporated the company's logo, along with transparent designs over a bold background for an eye-catching effect.
Every year, design firms strive to win W3 awards to be recognized for their creativity and expertise in the industry. The honor is only given to those who show "creative excellence" on the web.
"This an honor for us," said Jim Bernthal, owner of Top Floor. "We're thrilled to be recognized by such a respected organization for our creative and strategic design capabilities."
Top Floor is based in New Berlin, Wisconsin. It has been providing clients with graphic design services since 1999. Top Floor's creative director, Jon Balza, says that the company is eying the gold in 2011.
Graphic design jobs are expected to increase by 13 percent over the next eight years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
