When a graphic design company makes significant contributions to the industry, they may be recognized with an award. Graphic Matter Inc. recently received the 2010 Done Deals Women's Business Enterprise Partnership Award for helping more women open businesses through their services.
Graphic Matter, a graphic design studio located in New Jersey, provides print and web services for clients. The company received the award at the annual Breakthrough Breakfast for Women Business Enterprises held by the Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO) at the beginning of October. The group honored companies for their business contracts with female clients in the industry.
"This year, in the New York and Washington D.C. regions combined, we have exceeded our goal of 5,000 done deals. Indeed we are very pleased to have opened many doors for women owned businesses." said Marsha Firestone, president and founder of WPEO.
Graphic Matter has been participating in the Done Deals challenge to provide more opportunities for women over the past three years.
Jobs in the graphic design industry are predicted to increase by 13 percent over the next eight years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
