Due to the high demand for graphic design services, a number of firms are expanding to take advantage of potential business opportunities. Powers By Design, a marketing and advertising graphic design company, recently announced that it has added a new location in Chicago to work with more small businesses in 2011.
Powers By Design creative director and chief executive officer, Christopher Powers, is working with the team to use his extensive marketing experience to help clients. The company is geared toward outsourcing its work at reasonable prices to businesses overseas as well.
"Powers by Design clearly has a singular approach," said Sara Lancaster, a copywriter for Powers by Design. "I'm impressed with their willingness to complete projects under tight deadlines and their full-scale approach to design, SEO and web development. They really don't leave a stone unturned for their clients."
The company was recently named one of St. Louis' Best in Business for Web Design for the second year in a row.
Graphic design careers are predicted to increase by 13 percent over the next eight years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
