When an individual exceeds in the field of graphic design, they may be recognized for their positive contributions to the industry.
Recently, Matt Chansky was honored with two American Graphic Design awards for his logo and web designs. Chansky is the sole designer for Momentum 18, a graphic design service for clients ranging from small businesses to global corporations, according to Overnight Prints. He submitted his work to Graphic Design USA magazine for a chance to win the awards.
"I am truly humbled to be an award-winner with so many great designers and design firms," Chansky told the news source. "Without the creative freedom given to me by a select group of trusting clients, success like this would not be possible. They have my sincere thanks along with this year's judges."
Chansky will be featured in the first winter edition of Graphic Design USA magazine. The publication began taking submissions in August and sent out notifications to the winners in September.
Employment of graphic designers is expected to increase by 13 percent over the next seven years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The opportunity to make a positive impact on the industry may encourage individuals to embark on a career in the field.
