Reconstructed website may help promote company

An environmental consulting firm called S.S. Papadopolous and Associates, Inc. (SSPA) recently hired a web design firm to help showcase what the company represents and make the website more informative to viewers.
The design company, which is called Blue Water Media, installed its Joomla content management system, which allows individuals to download software or register for seminars. Blue Water Media announced that its designers set the website in blue and while color scheme with distinctive clear images to make it seem professional and easily accessible.
SSPA added that the new layout enables visitors to more easily access old materials along and download certain publications related to the material. Some of the issues SSPA covers are water resources, containment studies and environmental engineering.
The number of jobs in the web design industry is expected to increase by 30 percent between 2008 and 2018, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In addition, the average annual salary for individuals in this field was $66,000 in 2008.
