The once tacky and out-dated wallpaper is now appearing on wall after wall. Interior designers are excited to work with wallpaper because they believe it can really enhance a space, according to Shropshire Star.
A British interior designer, Kate Kingston, explained to the news source that wallpaper does not have to be bold, a simple design can transform a room. Also, Kingston believes that floral prints never go out of style. She adds that homeowners can design their own paper online if they are having trouble finding the perfect one for them, according to the news provider.
"That's why it excites designers," said Kingston to the news source. "Wallpaper is an excellent way to inject color, texture and impact onto a blank canvas."
Kingston is known for designing in Los Angeles, Milan and London, the media outlet reports.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, interior designers should expect keen competition when entering the field even though, the job market for individuals in this profession is expected to increase by 19 percent between the years 2008 and 2018.
