Apple Inc. is suing Samsung Electronics Co. for copying the iPhones and iPads design and using it on three different smartphones and on its Galaxy Tab tablet, according to the Fox Business.

The lawsuit was filed on April 15 and Apple is accusing them of using the same icons on each device along with design aesthetic. In the suit, Apple shows Samsung phones and tablets aligned with the iPhone an iPad. Representatives from Samsung have explained that they will actively protest the allegations, according to the media outlet.

"We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours," said Steve Jobs, who is Apple's chief executive, according to the news source.

This is not the only legal battle Apple is currently involved with for believing that its web design and layout has be duplicated. The company sued HTC for 20 instances of patent infringement this past March, which is still in litigation.

"We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours," said Steve Jobs, who is Apple's chief executive, according to the news source.

In addition, Apple has also stated in the past that it is unhappy with Amazon and Microsoft for using the term app store while selling applications for its products.
