The International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa has recently announced a new web design program, which is available in both bachelor's and associate's degrees.
This program, which will be offered available this fall, will engage students in the process of designing and maintaining a website. When they receive their degree, they will be able to pick out what is not working on a site and be able to fix it. In addition, these students will have developed a portfolio, which may be an asset when attempting to land a job in this field.
Some of the skill sets that these students will learn include an understanding of graphics, audio, text and other activities on the web. These students will be able to apply these tools into creating new effective websites.
The school, which has been an institution for 30-plus years, is known for its hands-on approach in teaching its students about design and technology while giving them opportunities to advance quickly in their desired profession. Other programs at the school include interior design, fashion design and animation.
