Luke Donald is ranked number one among professional golfers around the world, and is now going to take his artistic background and help design a new golf course in Danang, Vietnam, according to iseekgolf.

Donald, who just won the BMW PGA Championship, will be working on the first 18 holes of the Ba Na Hills Golf Club, according to the media outlet.

"To be able to work on my first ever golf course design at Ba Na Hills is a tremendous opportunity," Donald told the news source. "I am really happy how the current design is looking on paper and look forward to getting on site later this year to further refine the detailed design features."

Donald has some experience due to design programs he studied while at the Northwestern University, where received his degree in an art and therapy program. The construction of the course is expected to start late 2012, the news provider reports.

According to better.com, this new course is expected to be sporting a beautiful tropical rain forest and thick vegetation.
