New interior design store opens in Los Angeles

Rummage is a new boutique that will be opening up in Los Angeles on June 10. The interior designer who will be opening up this store, Kishani Perara, fills the area with vibrant colored household products, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Perara, who was originally a collector before she entered the interior design industry, offers items that range from expensive to the very inexpensive, according to the news provider.
"I love finding gems no one else sees," Perera told the news source.
A part of her boutique is a showroom that displays her furniture collection, which includes some homemade zinc tables, concrete planters and magical iron chandelier tree, the media outlet reports.
The interior designer also shares that a couple of her clients include model Molly Sims and actress Kate Bosworth.
Individuals who are interested in starting a career as an interior designer may have the opportunity. Employment in this field is expected to increase by 19 percent between 2008 and 2018, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
