Graphic design company earns recognition

Cambridge Design Group (CDG) was recently honored with the American Web Design Award for its work on the Platium Medical Imaging website by the Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) publication.

CDG, which was established in 1993, is a graphic design company that focuses on the brands and advertising.

GDUSA, which awards companies that show exemplary work in both print and web design, honored CDG with this recognition because their successful and noteworthy branding system.

"You have to make a personal connection with customers through your brand," said Dr. Robert D. Winsor, a professor of marketing at Loyola Marymount University. "People want to purchase, own and consume brands that mesh with their own values or project an identity that they feel is flattering or empowering. This sense of identity and community is very potent."

CDG believes that branding takes years to develop, and that is why quality is so significant especially in a time where news travels extremely fast.

Prospective graphic designers may want to keep these tips in the back of their mind, before they enter the field, in order to be successful.
