HM teams up with luxury designer Versace

Many people in the design industry understand the importance of creating quality items that are at a price that most consumers can afford. As more people are looking to save some money on clothing, some well-known designers are trying to meet this need by creating collaborations that offer luxury at a lesser price.

Hennes & Mauritz, otherwise known as H&M, is a Swedish fashion chain that has taken over the world by offering quality clothes at a reasonable price. According to the Washington Post, this year the company plans to team up with luxury brand Versace to offer an affordable line.

"I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience," Versace creative director Donatella Versace said in a statement. "The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere."

According to the Associated Press, the much-anticipated collection will hit more than 300 stores in November of this year. There will also be a pre-spring collection available online starting January 19, 2012.
