Men's Fashion Week has begun in Paris, and it appears as though many designers are taking their showcase quite seriously when it comes to dressing the men.
While Milan showed the more relaxed side of men's dressing, Paris brought out all of the glamour, as it has been known to do in women's collections. The Los Angeles Times reports that Jean Paul Gaultier showcased a collection that was all about destination dressing.
For example, the boundaries-pushing designer sent men down the catwalk wearing Hawaiian prints and board shorts that could easily be seen at any Hawaii surf shop. These were complimented with nautical blazers and a number of trousers.
Additionally, his all-plaid ensembles gave one the idea that they could have been such an outfit in field in Scotland.
These out-there prints were not the only thing worth noticing at the show. The Los Angeles Times reports that the models were dressed on the catwalk, while buyers were sitting at tables ready to make orders for the line.
