The retail store Banana Republic has recently announced its new collection that reflects the style of the AMC popular television show, "Mad Men," and it will be hitting stores this August, according to the New York Times.
The new line incorporates the chic look of the 60s in its apparel items for both men and women. It will have sweaters, dresses, ties, skirts and coats, all inspired by "Mad Men."
The costume designer of the show, Janie Bryant, helped with the creation of the new line, and she is thinking about coming out with her own collection as well, according to the news source.
Even though the clothing line will be coming out this August, the actual show will not be. The season five premiere was pushed back until next year, keeping many fans eagerly waiting, the media outlet reports.
According to the New York Magazine, the new line should be able to pick up where the store's clothes have recently been lacking by giving a modern twist to an old style.
