The search engine Google is attempting to transform into a social networking website, and it recently started its transformations with some alterations on the site, according to WebProNews.

Some of the new changes were put into effect to create a simple and effortless way of browsing. In addition, there is now a black bar on the top of the Google screen that gives its users access to their mail, maps and news.

However, there have been many individuals who have shown their distaste for the black bar as a header on the page and have shared their opinions on Twitter, the news source reports. One comment said that is ugly and is not useful, as another stated that it made it seem like the Bing, another popular search engine.

Individuals who are interested in web designing and possibly working for companies such as Google may be able land a job doing so after graduating from their various design programs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for professionals in the web design field is expected to increase by 45 percent between 2008 and 2018.
