Purdue University redesigns basketball court

It was recently announced that Purdue University will have a new basketball court design this season due to flood damage that made the surface unplayable for the upcoming season, according to the Journal-Courier.
The design, which will now have a two-tone brown and beige coloration, will feature a changed center logo on Keady Court. The old train logo will be replaced with the Purdue Motion P. There will be an addition of coach Gene Keady's signature on each side of center court.
The old logo's location, which was also down the sides of the court, will now read "Mackey Arena." It will also have text saying "Boilermakers" displayed near the sides, and a Big Ten Conference logo located in the out-of-bounds section.
According to 1070thefan, the students and fans will be able to see the basketball court's new design when the exhibition games start up this fall, which is when it is scheduled to be completed. The men's basketball team's first game is November 11, and the women's is November 13.
