Almost every company nowadays has a website, but many business owners have no idea how to create a webpage, so they hire a web designer. However, sometimes this relationship can go sour if a designer does not know how to build a relationship with the client. According to Caribbean Media Vision, there are a few key questions that a designer needs to go over with the client before getting to work.
Even if the two don't see eye-to-eye, it is important that the creator asks what the client doesn't like about their current design, and what they do like so it can be incorporated. Additional questions include who they are targeting, if they want to be able to update it themselves, what is the budget and what are the color and aesthetic preferences, the news source reports.
Individuals who are interested in becoming web designers have a good chance at obtaining a job once they enter the workforce. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment is expected to increase by 45 percent between 2008 and 2018.
