The historic Tudor Place will now move onto the architectural design process after they received the go ahead from the Old Georgetown Board this past week, according to the Georgetown Patch.
The building has started to run into some structural issues, however the residents do not want anything to happen to its historic value. Therefore, as they reach the design phase, the board and Tudor Place Foundation is hoping to find a solution that appeals to everyone, according to the media outlet.
They will now be looking for an architectural design firm that can combine the old and historic design of the place with a new stable structure, so visitors can still enjoy the building, the news source reports.
