Residents and visitors of Columbus, Indiana, can now enjoy and marvel at some of the many architecture structures that the town of 44,000 has to offer. According to the Indy Star, the Miller house, which is considered one of the best modern designs in the country, opened its doors this past May. They already have tours booked through August.
"I can't stress enough how much buzz there is in design circles about the restoration and opening of the Miller House," designer Brad Dunning, who has written for The New York Times, Vogue and GQ, told the news source. "After seeing this house in person, I was in awe."
It is not just the Miller House that is leaving designers speechless, there are nearly 60 significant architecture sturctures throughout the town, the news provider reports.
Individuals who are interested in architecture design may have a chance to land a job once they graduate from their design programs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for professionals in this field is expected to increase by 16 percent between 2008 and 2018.
