A library in Foxboro, Massachusetts, recently received the green light to start construction after a strenuous time period in which the board could not compromise with the architects, according to the Foxboro Reporter.
"I've had more calls about the library than any building that's gone on in the town, including the [Patriot's football] stadium," vice chairman Willaim Grieder told the news source. "I'm talking to people who are losing or have strained friendships over this project."
Everyone finally came to an agreement, however, after the big dispute of how the stairway would look like. It is expected that the $11.7 million dollar expansion project will incorporate both the look of the old design, which will seamlessly connect to the new one, the media outlet reports.
Individuals who are looking for architecture design jobs in the near future may be in luck. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for professionals in this field is expected to increase by 16 percent between 2008 and 2018.
