It was recently announced that fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will be creating an exclusive clothing line for the retail store Macy's, and it will only be available for a limited time.
"To me Macy's is the perfect department store in the United States where everybody can find what they're looking for without ruining their budget," said Lagerfeld. "That's why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy's."
The clothing line, which will be available starting on August 31, is a mixture of refined dresses, flowwy tops, tweeds and high collared neck designs, which is his signature look. In addition, there will be chic leggings, jackets, comfortable T-shirts and a range of colors to choose from to give it a rocker-edge to the clothes. The prices will range from $50 to $170.
Individuals who are interested in fashion design can earn up to $60,000 when they graduate from their design programs, which was the the median annual salary in 2008, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
