After 125 careers, Barbie will now be an architect, and what better way to celebrate than having actual architects design her new dream house? The American Institute of Architects have chosen the top five designs, which will be now voted on by the public, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Some of the designs included revolving clothes racks to display all of Barbie's fun outfits, and others allowed huge garages for all of the cars she could possibly want, according to the news source.
One of the designs even included an exercise room, complete with various equipment and a home office full of supplies, the media outlet reports. The winner will be announced this Tuesday by the AIA.
Individuals who are interested in architecture design may want to know what the job market will look like after they graduate from their design programs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in this field is expected to increase by 16 percent between 2008 and 2018.
