Gormans Home Furnishing adds collection to showroom

Gorman's Home Furnishing recently announced that it will be adding the Pierre Deux furniture to its showroom. Pierre Deux is a collection of furniture, which has a French countryside appearance, that brings both old and new design into one collective piece.

Gorman's, which has been around for 70 years and is based in Michigan, will be selling this collection through its various stores or online. The company explains that this collection combines elegance and warmth to a space.

"The handcrafted pieces offered by Pierre Deux can furnish each space in the home flawlessly," said Tom Lias, president and COO of the company. "The rich textures, natural materials and organic colors offered by the collection is the perfect addition to our 100 brand lineup."

Individuals who are interested in interior design may want to know what the job market will look like once they graduate from their design programs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for professionals in this field is expected to increase from 19 percent between 2008 to 2018.
