Website design has become imperative to business, schools and organizations alike, as many turn to the internet for information. University websites are also important as prospective students will check its website to see if they can see themselves there. According to Bost Innovation, there are five schools in the Boston area that have earned the title of best, efficient and innovative websites.
The first on the list is the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, which helps students find programs at both Northeastern University and Tufts University, and its homepage itself is a work of art. Massachusetts Institute of Technology has also rendered a lot of attention, as it is distinct and easy to navigate.
Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Emmanuel College and Boston University round out the top five, as they all successfully tie creativity and simplicity together, the media outlet reports.
Individuals who are interested in getting a degree in web design may want to know what the job market will look like after they graduate from their design programs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment is expected to increase by 45 percent between 2008 and 2018.
