Commercial Photography Technology Program.
The purpose of our program is to prepare students for a successful career in commercial photography, portrait photography, wedding photography, industrial photography, or within the digital lab industry. This program is made up of four occupational completion points (OCPs). Students can choose to take part of the classes for their work, or continue on with the full program.
OCP Information
OCP A: Black and White Specialist
Principles of the digital camera, lines of composition, available light exposure, areas of safety, and using a portable flash comprises the training that is included in this program.
OCP B: Photography Specialist/Lab Technician
Training in making prints, outputting digital images, Adobe Photoshop, and scanning images is included in the content.
OCP C: Portrait Photographer
Provides training in the areas of portrait lighting, lenses, model composites, high and low key family portraits, bridal portraits, business portraits, and environmental portraits.
OCP D: Commercial Photographer
Course involves training in the following areas: computer-connected digital cameras, commercial lighting, multimedia presentations, table-top product photography, architectural and product photography, and business plan preparation.
