Cecil Community College
Students who enroll in the professional photography class will be prepared for starting employment and career advancement. Credits can be transferred to most four-year colleges.
We prepare our students for positions such as wedding or portrait photographer, industrial photographer, photojournalist, videographer, digital imager, or photography lab manager.
Employment expectations for these positions include: taking photos in studio and on location, or both, imaging and processing digitally, video production and selling. Computer literacy is achieved through course work assigned in the degree program.
Other options available are, Professional Photography Certificate, Studio Photography Certificate, and Basic Photography Option Certificate.
