The photography alternative is intended to organize students to transfer with junior standing to a Bachelor of Fine Arts photographing course.
Photography program provides General Education courses, as well as a wide range of training for both black-and-white and color photography.
Field trips are required for some courses. There will be alternatives to the traditional field trips.
The photography certificate is intended to prepare students for building a career in photography. This program focuses on helping students reach maximum development of skills and competencies in the use of a variety of camera and darkroom equipment, as well as the application of personal style and aesthetics to photographic processes. An Associate of Arts student can expect competition from certificate holders.
