Brown College values the opportunity to provide it's students with programs that are sound in concept, conducted by competent and dedicated faculty, and focused toward providing the solid foundation of knowledge essential to obtaining employment in their chosen fields. Hands-on-training is emphasized, and these programs that are offered focus on areas that are relevant to employers' requirements.
To give the students the training and skills needed to achieve a thriving career, the college will:

Campus Facilities
Brown College resides in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, with a branch campus in Brooklyn Center. The two campuses are close to major highways and have access to public transportation as well. There is parking set aside for students.
The Mendota Heights campus sits upon a spacious 18 acre site. More than 122,000 square feet of labs, office space, studios, and classroom are provided within the campus buildings. A cafeteria, lounge space, and a Learning Resource Center are incorporated in the centralized services for students. There are computers, study areas, laptop tables and printers available in the Library and Learning Resource Center. The students enrolled in Brown College's technology programs enjoy access to networking equipment, computer labs, and software.
Students are enabled in their work on multiple projects from home and school, by the College laptop center. Hands-on training on equipment and software, that is similar to industry standards, is received by students in Brown College's broadcasting programs. Through the use of computerized screens, Radio Broadcasting students in Scott Studio can access program operations. Avid software allows Television Production students experience linear and non-linear editing.
Brown College and its branch campus makes sure that all facilities and equipment are in compliance with health, fire, and building safety laws, ordinances as well as regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
Bachelor of Science in Digital photography

Projects that previously took days to complete, now only take hours; thanks to a revolution in photography created by digital technology. The Bachelor of Science Degree Program gets you ready to take on a new career in the exciting field of Digital Photography. You'll work with studio and location equipment, computer software and print-making technology, once your solid background in principles, processes, and techniques has been established. Digital images will be modified and created by you. You can express your own artistic vision in areas like portraiture, photojournalism, or even commercial projects. Students acquire human relations and problem solving skills, that are well sought by employers, through the program's General Education curriculum.
