The medium of photography is used to record, communicate, and allows one to express himself. Since photography is an interdisciplinary art medium, students are encouraged to push the limits of photography socially, culturally, and aesthetically. The program may lead to a range of photographic specialties, including careers in art, documentation and education. Students will experience classes that teach all technical aspects of photography, including analog and digital techniques, in addition to studying the wider artistic and societal impact of the medium. Eventually students are prepared for and complete a BFA thesis exhibition.
