The Computer Studies Department at Bakersfield College offers a wide range of Web Development courses, as well as Associates in Science degree in Web Development. Web Development is one of the fastest growing professions in computing and technology. Our web development courses include introductory courses in HTML and web design, as well as courses in database-driven web sites, dynamic HTML, and other dynamic web site technologies. Associate in Science Degree Web Development: Design Emphasis This program is designed for the studnet who plans to design, create, and maintain websites. The student will learn professional skills leading to employment and will gain a broad educational background. In addition, the program provides a foundation for further studies in this and other computer-related fields.
