The Multimedia faculty and program co-creators tapped into some of the worlds most highly acclaimed multimedia production studios and software companies as they fine-tuned a curriculum which focuses on three major areas: Digital Imaging, Web Design and Production and Digital Video Arts. Currently under development are the Animation and Writing for Multimedia Programs. Web Design & Production Berkeley City College Web Design & Production (interactive authoring) program is on the leading edge of a digital revolution. The college's fully integrated Web design, Interactive DVD and CD-ROM design curriculum allows students to develop strengths in core multimedia disciplines such as graphical user interface and architecture, image preparation, design, digital imaging, programming, business practices, human relations, project development, team work, e-commerce strategy and media maintenance. Berkeley City College's Web Design & Production program is interdisciplinary and focuses on developing computer, as well as fine art and design skills. Berkeley City's program is dynamic, industry-centered and economical (only $18.00 per unit): it's one of the best in the Bay Area.
