Web Development: This area of emphasis prepares students for careers working with many different forms of electronic media and the delivery of this media, particularly via the Internet of Intranet. Students completing this certificate will be able to create electronic media from a wide variety of sources and to deliver this media over a variety of channels. Students may find entry-level positions as web masters, web designers, web developers or web programmers. The Web Development degree provides students with practical experience creating web sites and preparing them for entry-level positions as web designers, web programmers or web server administrators. The Curriculum uses current software and hardware typically found in the field of professional web development. Certificates of Proficiency: Web Design: The Computer Information Systems Certificates of Proficiency offer specific training for an entry-level position or to augment related programs.
