This field of study deals with the creation and preparation of visual messages, conveyed either as an interactive multimedia program, an internet page, or printed piece. The Graphic Communications department offers two distinct paths toward attainment of either an Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion. We emphasize lab activities and provide a wealth of project work to complete. Students do not need previous computer or graphics experience, nor do they need to own a computer or software. We work with both the Macintosh and Windows platforms, and offer open lab times for all students who are enrolled in our classes. Web Design Certificate of Completion Graphic Communications/Graphic Design This certificate of completion is evidence of knowledge of the preparation of graphics and web sites for the Internet. Through the creation and capture of images, creation of animation, and layout/design of pages the student gains insight into graphic industry methods.
