Internet and Multimedia Technologies The Internet and Multimedia Technologies program provides a focused sequence of courses for students who wish to transfer to a four-year institution or gain employment in the fields of web and interactive design, graphic design, video production, or print media creation and delivery. Career options include web page design; web/multimedia development; web/multimedia programming; information architecture; graphics production; content development; interface design; video editing; and layout design. Specific positions include webmaster; production assistant; video production assistant, background artist, product modeling, product animator; and storyboard artist. MiraCosta Degrees * A.A. in Internet and Multimedia * A.A. in Digital Publishing * A.A. in Web Management Web Design | Certificate of Achievement The Web Design Certificate is designed to provide the focused skills necessary to gain employment in Web site design. Students gain skills in interactive project design and construction, interface design, internet and multimedia scripting languages, digital media production, and project management. Graduates of this program will be able to take a Web design project from the concept and analysis phase through content preparation to final design, programming, and delivery to the internet. Graduates of this program will be able to gain entry-level employment as Web page designers and programmers, content developers, and interface designers. To complete the Web Design Certificate you must select from the following courses to total 15 units.
