Web Design: The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in Web Design Services positions. The content of the program includes Web document development, design, promotion, and scripting. Students in the program will learn HTML, Web page authoring software, Web graphics software, and e-commerce concepts. The program focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of elements in the Web Design Services industry. A student may expect to complete this program in 1,050 hours. An additional 300 hours could be assigned in VPI, if remediation is required.
