Web Design: Certificate of Achievement Web Design is one of five new Certificates of Achievement offered at HFCC. Earn a Web Design Certificate by completing the 37 credit hours of core courses. Students may complete an additional 23 credit hours of General Education and Elective courses to earn an Associate in Arts degree. Classes are offered throughout the year during the day, evening, and weekend. Interactive web design presents new challenges. Designers must understand how users interact with sites in order to create new and effective ways to present and communicate ideas in a non-linear format. Photoshop, Flash, ImageReady, and Dreamweaver are among the programs web designers need to know. Minimum Number Of Credits To Graduate (Including Options/Electives): 37
