Career Opportunities/Information Increased use of the Internet by corporations will create thousands of new jobs nation-wide, and absolutely no one is in a position to predict when the anticipated employment boom will peak or how it will be characterized. Related job titles (such as web designer, web developer, web master) have been recognized for only a few years and their evolution is ongoing. Just as the internet is ever changing, the duties of web professionals may change completely over the next few years or new occupations may take their place entirely. The demand for creative web professionals increases as businesses integrate web-based marketing and e-commerce into their strategic mix. Our program in web design and development was created to meet businesses' need for ethical web professionals who can create content, design the workflow of the site, create and edit code, understand internetworking, apply security technologies, design visually-appealing navigable pages, manage projects and work effectively with others.
