Westwood College began in Denver, Colorado in 1953. Previously known for years as the Denver Institute of Technology, it offered diploma and degree programs in many different technical fields. Alta has continued to extend the Westwood College's program offers since then to a wide array of students thus enabling them to acquire a leverage with good objective towards achieving a career based education. Multimedia and Web Design:

This program, offered by Westwood College, will assist a student to gain adequate training for the promotion the career of any student. Further, it will also help the student to work for companies or to develop his own website, if he desires to become a Web Designer.

Bachelor of Science degree in Web Design & Multimedia from Westwood College:

Westwood's Web Design & Multimedia Program helps to prepare students for a variety of jobs at entry-level in the Web design industry. In order to promote themselves to a career at the entry level of a program, students need to acquire techniques such as authoring and scripting, e-commerce, and web design.

Westwood College, Inc. Board of Trustees of Westwood: The Board of Directors oversees the growth of Westwood College as an insitution of higher learning. Oversight of the College's mission, academic quality and institutional purpose are some of the duties of the Board.

Accreditation:

Westwood college is accredited, depending on the campus, by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), or Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). All Westwood campuses can award college degrees.
